Gene Arnold started his career as a teenager inspecting tires for Uniroyal. He received a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Engineering Management. Work as a project engineer for Cooper Tire & Rubber Company in Findlay, Ohio, gave him a chance to spend five years learning the insides and out of every department in a tire plant. He worked in several other Cooper Tire plants and led a team to renovate and startup the Tupelo, Mississippi, operation. Gene served as Vice President of Engineering for the Cooper Tire & Rubber Company and traveled around the world purchasing equipment, auditing plants, and evaluating manufacturing and maintenance procedures. He later acted as President of Asian Operations for Cooper Tire and worked with a team to establish the "Cooper footprint" in Asia.

 

In 2007, Gene became President of RMS Equipment and learned another side of the industry. He most recently served as Vice President of Global Tire Operations and Engineering for the Carlstar Group and managed three tire plants producing specialty tires.  In this position, he was also responsible for capital expenditures for the company.
